EMILY + ROBERT - IDAHO CITY ELOPEMENT
Emily + Robert eloped with their closest family + friends at a family cabin in Placerville, just past Idaho City. I met E+R at their engagement session at Redfish Lake the fall before their wedding and I’ve loved getting to know them + their family. E + R shared a private emotional first look followed by an early afternoon ceremony. After the ceremony E read a beautiful letter and vows to their children about what it means to marry their dad how much she loves them. Tears were shed all around. I love being a little fly on the wall getting to be a part of and capture moments like these. They finished their day with a lunch reception, popped some champagne, ate some wedding cake, and we adventured around one of their favorite trails for bridal portraits. Summer mountain elopements have a very special place in my heart and I loved that they got to show me a place that meant so much to them + their family!
